| Working Garage and Brush Fire in the First Due |

At 19:01 Stations 67, 102, 49, Rescue 151, and Tankers 59-1 and 59-2 along with EMS was dispatched to Coal Hollow Road near Rubright Road for a reported garage fire. Engine 67-2 responded with a crew of 4. Medic 601 arrived on scene and reported a working garage fire along with a brush fire. Engine 67-2 arrived shortly after that report along with Rescue Captain 67 who assumed the Coal Hollow Rd Command. Command reported the fire on side "C" of the garage along with the brush fire that was spreading. The crew from Engine 67-2 pulled a 1 3/4 CAFS line and started to attack the main body of fire in the garage and then some of the brush fire. Tanker 102 arrived and was assigned to extinguish the brush fire along with Squad and Brush 102. The fire was knocked down within 10 minutes, and Station 131 units that were dispatched in place of Engine 59 who was assigned to another fire in their first due area was cancelled. Rescue 151 provided scene lighting, while Engines 49 and 102 along with Tankers 59-1 and 59-2 provided water supply Crews operated for an hour and a half doing mop up of both the garage and brush fire. One firefighter from Station 49 was treated for a minor foot injury when a nail went into his foot.
